Checklist for Success

There is a functional progression of math skills for every grade from Kindergarten to 8th. High School Math are divided by strands into Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics. Success in math is not determined by the pace of the courses, but by the comprehension and application of the content.

The recommended Skill Progression for each grade from Kindergarten to 8th is below as are the specific focus areas for 4th through 8th grade.
